Accessibility by car
By car is one of the best and easiest ways to get to the ss Rotterdam. It is only 10 minutes away from the A16 high way.

From Breda (A16)
Open or Close
- Exit the A16 at exit Feijenoord (exit number 24).
- Keep left at the exit Feijenoord, and follow the John F. Kennedyweg after the traffic lights (this road changes in the Stadionweg)
- Then follow Feijenoord, and then Kop van Zuid once.
- Follow the signs ss Rotterdam.

From Europoort (A15)
Open or Close
- Exit the A15 at exit Zuidplein/Ahoy (exit number 19a).
- Drive down the Vaanweg and follow Zuidplein/Ahoy.
- Follow Erasmusbrug/ss Rotterdam.
- Follow the signs ss Rotterdam.

From Den Haag (A13)
Open or Close
- Exit the A13 at the Kleinpolderplein junction, to the A20 towards Dordrecht.
- Exit the A20 at the exit Centrum (exit number 14).
- Follow the Schieweg, continue straight ahead, across the Hofplein, to and across the Erasmus bridge. Before the Erasmus bridge, you will see the signs ss Rotterdam.
- Follow the signs ss Rotterdam, a route through the city.
The alternative is to drive via the A20 (direction Dordrecht) and the A16, or via the A20 (direction Hoek van Holland), the A4 (Benelux tunnel) and the A15.

From Utrecht (A12)
Open or Close

At Gouda, take the A20 towards Rotterdam.

At Capelle aan den IJssel take the A16 towards Dordrecht.

Keep right and exit at the exit Centum (exit number 25).

Continue straight across the Abram van Rijckevorselweg/Maasboulevard/Boompjes until you see the Erasmus bridge, turn left and drive over the Erasmus bridge.

On the Erasmus bridge, you’ll see the signs ss Rotterdam.

Continue following the signs ss Rotterdam.

- Then follow Feijenoord, and then Kop van Zuid once.
- Follow the signs ss Rotterdam.

Accessibility by public transport
The ship is easy accessible by public transport. Bus 77 drives from Zuidplein shopping center via metro station Rijnhaven to the ss Rotterdam and vice versa. From Central Station Rotterdam, take the metro D or E to Slinge or De Akkers and exit at the metro station Rijnhaven.
Accessibility by Watertaxi
Right next to the ss Rotterdam is the Watertaxi stop '56 ss Rotterdam' and '58 Katendrechtse Hoofd'. The Watertaxi's sails from up to 50 different docks in Rotterdam and Schiedam and is quicker than by road. Book a ride through the Watertaxi app, website or by phone.
