With Asda’s pledge to bring maximum benefit to shoppers - ‘Save Money. Live Better’; Asda pricing team always played a critical role in providing the best pricing insights and decision support to their Trading and Marketing team.
However, Asda’s pricing team has been facing a few challenges:
Speed to market for pricing decisions - Pricing data technology depended on significant manual interventions and lacked integration with new and different sources of marketplace pricing data (acquired from 3rd parties).
Insights and Analytics - lack of centralisation and disparate data sources increased duplication and impacted a single source of truth for pricing data.
In this webinar, we will learn more about how HCL helped ASDA in their transformation to a data-driven company by inverting the Data Analysis Pyramid, focused on creating real insights and decision support by automating low-value tasks of data collection and analysis. This case won the ISG Paragon Award in 2019.
