In this episode of The Digital Move Wipro discusses how Wipro helped GSK in maximizing their intelligent automation investments by setting up a bot factory that leveraged their existing investment in IBM Watson. Dee Padalia, Partner Strategic Relationships and Brendon Chamany, Global Sales Head (Automation & HOLMES) elaborated on how Wipro helped GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) maximise their investments in Intelligent Automation, which would have otherwise been sunken costs. To do this Wipro setup of a complete Bot Factory Program in GSK for 2019 & 2020 to develop and roll-out Chatbots, Voicebots and Process Bots for multiple business users including Procure-to-Pay, HR, Legal, Global Ethics & Compliance and Taxation. Business benefits were delivered, with 20+ Bots rolled out so far, and integration of Bots done with SAP, FB Workplace, Workday, WhosOn, etc.
The key differentiator was how Wipro leveraged the existing technology to focus the project towards successfully delivering clear business impact, going beyond ‘just’ being a new technology opportunity, and manage to deliver vastly improved business benefits at a fraction of the initial investment.
